Easter bonnets are hats (usually purchased by
the ladies especially for Easter Sunday).
Easter flowers were usually the early flowers of
Spring; "Pink bunnies" - stuffed toys sold in
shops at Easter time. The rabbit, being a
symbol of fertility.
And now, not only is it a memorial day of all these great Easter flowers, and Easterbonnets, and pink rabbits, and so forth, that we've got into, and holy celebrations, which is all right; but this is not the real thing in that way.
