Windle


1.

Also called"wind-lass". 1. An apparatus operated by hand or machine, for hauling or lifting, consisting of a drum or cylinder upon which is wound the rope, cable or chain which is attached to the object to be lifted. To "windle" is to lift or haul something.

Now, notice, when He went out to the well that day and sat down, and the disciples went in town to buy some vittles. While they were gone, a lovely looking woman come walking out with a pot on her head. And she let the windle down to get some water, and she heard somebody say, "Bring Me a drink."

To "windle" or more correctly to "dwindle". To lose strength; become smaller; to waste away; to shrink

...whatever you want to be; see if you don't windle and twindle and die! That's right. It won't take but a few suns to do it. So the only eternal achievement there is is Jesus Christ.
